A Summer Celebration with a Green Twist!
At Blue Corner, we believe in celebrating the joy of summer while keeping our planet in mind. That’s why we were delighted to host a memorable company-wide BBQ event for our employees, with sustainability at the heart of it all.
To minimize our ecological footprint, we made conscious choices in organizing this special occasion. Instead of a distant venue, we decided to host the BBQ right here in our own parking lot. By doing so, we reduced transportation needs, ensuring our dedicated staff didn’t have to travel far.
In line with our dedication to supporting local businesses, we partnered with a nearby catering company for the event. By choosing a local partner, we not only provided a boost to the local economy but also reduced the carbon emissions associated with transportation.
We are proud to share that we took great care in managing the surplus food from the event. In consultation with St Vincentius, a local charitable organization, we ensured that no food went to waste. The remaining leftovers were thoughtfully recovered and distributed to those in need within the Berchem community.
